As with positive film (see accompanying video in link) the curtains on the age of motion picture film are quickly closing.

Fuji has officially announced that it's ceased production on motion picture film as of last month. What's left of the remaining stock will be sold, and as they say; that's it my friends.

I'm just curious to see if what Quentin Tarantino said recently in a panel forum will come to pass; that if film dies he'll no longer be a filmmaker. To paraphrase his comment: digital video is not what he signed up for.
